Dr. Farjoodi
- Dr. Farjoodi is a board certified orthopaedic spine surgeon who attended the prestigious Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Farjoodi has completed a spine fellowship, training in the most advanced techniques available, including minimally invasive and revision surgery.
- He has been consistently been recognized by his peers and patients as an Orange County Physician of Excellence and is often interviewed for his expertise on spine surgery in the national media. Dr. Farjoodi is noted to be a thought leader in the field of spine surgery, serving as a reviewer for The Spine Journal as well as sitting on the Adult Spine Evaluation Committee of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Following a detailed session of consultation with Dr. Farjoodi, I had an L5S1 ALIF spine fusion surgery on Feb. 27, 2022. Dr. Farjoodi was extremely generous with his time, shared his honest opinion and offered professional advice on possible solutions for my complicated back pain. He patiently explained the MRI images and described the issues. I am now in week 10 post surgery and I am writing to highly recommend Dr. Farjoodi for treating the most complicated back and spine problems. My follow up visits after the operation and his close monitoring of my recovery period indicated the surgery has been successful. I still experience pain and discomfort but feel very happy and confident that Dr. Farjoodi has done a successful though complicated surgery and I will have a life with the highest quality possible post spinal fusion. Hands down the best in the business. I had a laminectomy 12/2021 and he did an amazing job and had me up and moving the same day. My recovery was great and it was so much relief to be free of the pain. It’s now a year later and I managed to mess up my back again and went back to him and he encouraged me to try some alternate treatments before we do a surgery. Dr is incredibly personable and knowledgeable and takes time with you and that’s very comforting.
